So I used latest (10.0.4) Ghidra to decompile a x86 binary to c file and h header/ then I preprocessed it with the msvc cl compiler but in the result, while parsing it - turns out the typedefs for FuncDef0 and so on are missing.

They seems to be function typedefs based on usage.

Could this be a common problem - maybe I've forgotten to set certain flag - or maybe I'm missing something obvious.

  • I don’t know Ghidra’s decompiler but I’d guess these are things it couldn’t figure out and you’ll have to fix it up. Decompilation is difficult, and you generally won’t get output ready to just recompile.
