This is my first time reverse engineering a smart band I got a while back. Its got a TI CC2541 2.4-GHz Bluetooth, a KX023-1025 (3-axis accelerometer), and a 32.000 MHZ Standard Clock. What I'm trying to find out is 2 chips. A "A502L" it has 2 pads connected to it, and A (smd transistor I think??) It has 6 pins and its fully white. I don't have anything on this and I'm not sure how to find out. (This part you don't need to answer if you don't want to) Also there's no memory module or anything, I was thinking one of the unknown chips could be it, if not, I'm not sure where it gets its "OS" from, could it be possible its getting its "OS" from the Bluetooth module??.

PS: I can send a picture of what the PCB looks like, but my camera is quite bad.

  • The CC2541 has built in flash, that’s probably where the firmware is stored.
