I am trying to get a gold value in my game (an old game since the 90s, but it's still working).

I finally found the gold value and its static address too, but sometimes that address can't get the correct value because the offset number is constantly changing when changing the level or close the game.

So, I decided to create a script instead of changing the gold value from the static address directly, but I found another obstacle, the assembly code that controls the gold value is shared between me and the enemy and also, our gold value (me, enemy) are in the same static address but each one in a different offset so, any changes will be applied to me and the enemy too.

For example:

  • Level 1, me and the enemy in a static address "game.exe"+ABB18 but my offset is 00, the enemy 08.
  • Level 2, me and the enemy in the same static address "game.exe"+ABB18 but my offset is 0C, the enemy 08.
  • Close/Open the game, me and the enemy in the same static address "game.exe"+ABB18 but my offset is 00, the enemy 10.

Is there an idea/solution to increase/control my gold value just for me?
