Currently, I am learning about the differences between static and dynamic analysis. I have come across this incredible question that has been bugging me: What happens to the file (in memory) when you execute it? More specifically, what is different? And what is the reason behind it? Why can't the computer just map the file on disk to memory byte for byte?
