I have a bin file that shows a list of lzma compressed files which I extracted generically to .7z files using this format "binwalk -D "elf 32-bit lsb shared object":.so image.bin"

I figure I did it wrong and should use -dd indicating start and end bytes. I tried to binwalk x.bin again but this time the list didn't show up for this bin and other sample bins I have.

Why and how could I remedy this?

I'm trying to uninstall it but i got this error "Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), is another process using it?"

I'm updating ubuntu now so I will restart and try again later
